I was lucky enough to catch a drum competition on the waterfront at Tsim Sha Tsui in Kowloon the other day.
Traditional Chinese drums, fun choreography and some awesome uniforms made it a pleasure to stop by and watch for a while.

It’s really wonderful to watch children perform. They are so expressive.
I love that organisations like the Hong Kong Chinese Orchestra exist to organise events like this.

Nice caption Alexander!
I had attended the 13th when I was there for an official meeting. The kids were looking very cute. And it was really an unforgettable moment.
Thank you Jeniffer, it is quite a special event ! 🙂
Absolutely! 🙂
Yes, we too! But that was back in 2013. We spent nearly the whole late morning watching them
Cool 🙂 We are lucky travellers !
Yup!
They are so full of energy the kids and its amazing to see the enthusiasm!
I love how you can see the concentration , adults kind of hide it often, its like they are so focussed on activity they forget how they look 😂
So true. When we were there we saw groups coming in to prepare – as they were performing soon. The kids were so intent looking! Serious business mind you.
